Re-design of biomass boiler for very wet fuel
Zbořil, Martin ; Skála, Zdeněk (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to calculate the stoichiometric balance of boilers and boiler fuel for normal monture to 60%. Determine the monture, content depending on the conditions of the fuel in the combustion chamber and conditions of combustion. Experimental analysis of the current state of the boiler ZKG measurements using this device and propose modifications and solutions.
Methods for the reduction of nitrogen oxides
Šimeček, Radek ; Hudák, Igor (referee) ; Bělohradský, Petr (advisor)
This Bachelor’s thesis deals with methods for the reduction of nitrogen oxides during industrial combustion. In the chapter relating to legislation are summed up the limits for stationary sources of pollution valid in the Czech Republic, further are stated the legislative tools for reducing and monitoring emissions. The next part contains an overview of primary and secondary methods for reducing NOx emissions, including pros and cons of the methods. Finally, a simulation in software ChemCAD is carried out, demonstrating the influence of combustion air temperature and flue gas recirculation on parameters of combustion.
Usage exhaust gas in combustion engine for improvment engine quality
Fusek, Petr ; Drápal, Lubomír (referee) ; Rasch, František (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis contains information on how to use exhaust gas of engines. It describe the usage of kinetic and thermic energy of exhaust gas which is taken from the engine without any usage. This study includeds basic technical parameters and descriptions of giving analysis and their usage in practice. This bachelor´s thesis assesses theoretical possibilities of exhaust gas and their occurence and structure
Heat and mass balance of up-to-date laundry premise
Galčáková, Alena ; Kšenzuliak, Vladimír (referee) ; Bobák, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis is solving a problem of energy intensity evaluation of professional laundry process. It presents computational model of tumble dryer and calender. There are described factors in calender model, which influence energy intensity of drying process. Verification of the model has been done according to measured data from real professional laundry premise.

On the Reynolds number role in structure of recirculation zone b ehind backward facing step in a narow channel
Uruba, Václav
Topology of the time-mean flow-field behind the backward facing step in a narrow channel is presented for various Reynolds numbers. The flow-field is studied in planes close to the channel bottom and in the plane of symmetry. Special attention is devoted to the appearance of secondary and higher order structures defined on the time-mean basis. Experimental results are obtained from PIV measurements.
Mean structure of the flow over backward facing step in a narrow channel
Uruba, Václav
Flow structure behind the backward facing step in a narrow channel was studied in details. The step height was 25 % of the channel width. The structure of the region just behind the step forming the back-flow region was subjected to experimental investigation using stereo PIV technique. Time-mean 3D structures behind the step are evaluated and shown in the paper.
